BMB Music & Magnetics Share Price

BMB Music and Magnetics was established in 1991, first trading in various cloth items.In 1995, it acquired the music rights for various films for which it issued equity shares at par. To diversify its production, the company proposed a public issue of 2618000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium of Rs 25 per share, aggregating Rs 916.44 lac. The company planned to manufacture prerecorded audio cassettes and compact discs at an unit in Sitapura Jaipur, with a capacity of 120 lac cassettes pa and 40 lac compact discs pa. As part of the package for the supply of the plant for the compact disc manufacturing plant, the company received technical assistance from Laybold Germany. Further diversification into software for T.V. serials, marketing of mega films and a multi-complex theatre was also made in 1998-99.
