About Siddha Ventures Ltd

IFB Securities was incorporated in Nov. 91 as a public limited company to carry out investment activities and provide other financial services. The company was jointly promoted by IFB Industries and Bijon Nag who own the IFB group, a collection of companies including IFB Agro Industries and IFB Leasing & Finance. In Dec.94, a maiden public issue of the company was made to increase the investment exposure, and for connecting to NSE membership. Furthermore, IFB connected with a Calcutta Stock Exchange member in a 50:50 stake and created CPL Securities, making it a corporate member of the Calcutta bourse. They also acquired a 65 stake in Cantor Capital Corporation, a US-based NASDAQ company, increasing their involvement as a broker for Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs). Finally, in Sep. 95, IFB became an Over-the-Counter Electronic Interdealer (OTCEI) dealership. In total, IFB Securities' activities have significantly enhanced its ability to service and benefit from FIIs in the US and UK markets.
