Quant Small Cap Fund is a small-cap mutual fund that was launched on 29 October 1996. Small-cap mutual funds are categorized by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) to be companies that rank between 250th and beyond on the stock exchange as per their market capitalization.

 

Quant Mutual Funds follow a quantitative investing strategy that is based on their VLRT framework. Here, V refers to Valuation, R refers to Risk Appetite, L means Liquidity and T stands for Time. They call this a multi-dimensional approach that helps them view and analyse data for even enhanced predictive analysis.

 

Quant small cap fund follows Nifty Small Cap 250 TRI as its benchmark index.
