Company Information

Tata Power Company Ltd is one of India's largest integrated power companies, incorporated in 1910. It is the country's largest private sector electricity producer, with an installed generation capacity of 10,577 MW and a presence in all the segments of the power sector, namely generation, transmission, distribution and trading. Tata Power has a strong presence in the renewable energy sector with a total installed capacity of 1,845 MW. It is the first company to cross the 5,000 MW milestone in India.

Tata Power's lines of business include generation, transmission, distribution and trading of electricity. It has a diversified portfolio of thermal, hydro, solar and wind power plants. The company is also engaged in providing consultancy services to the power sector in India and abroad. Its popular brands include Tata Power Solar, Tata Power Trading, Tata Power Renewable Energy and Tata Power SED.
