Company Information

Shemaroo Entertainment Limited is an established media content house in India with a large content library of over 3700 titles across Traditional and Digital Media. The company was initially founded in 1962 and was later converted to a public limited company in 2011. In 2014, it extended its relationship with The Orchard and 2015 saw the tie up between the company and Red Chillies Entertainments to distribute films on TV platforms. In order to fund its working capital, a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 7,33,33,35 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a price of Rs 170 was held in 2014. Since then, the company has made capital contributions to two Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) -- Contentino Media and Shemaroo Think Tank Entertainment.
