About Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd

Nahar Industrial Enterprises NIEL was founded by the OSM Group in September 1983. For its initial operation, the company installed a 10,500 tonne per annum fatty acid unit which was commissioned in February 1985. After installation of an oxygen plant with an annual capacity of 648,000 cubic metres, NIEL, subsequently, diversified into making toilet soaps. In order to finance the setting up of a printing and paper manufacturing unit and vanaspati ghee plant, the company went public in January 1993. Currently, NIEL employs 5,000 spindles in its spinning units for cotton and blended yarn and has added 80 Picanol Airjet Loom with an estimated investment of Rs 36.95 crores. Furthermore, this company has undertaken the amalgamation of Nahar International Ltd and Nahar Sugar Allied Industries Ltd. By doing this, the company had issued three equity shares of Rs. 10/- each against 12 and 10 equity shares of Nahar International and Nahar Sugar Allied Industries Ltd, held by their respective shareholders. With time, Nahar Industrial Enterprises NIEL has expanded its operations and has become a large-scale enterprise.
