About PTL Enterprises Ltd

PTL Enterprises Ltd. was incorporated in 1959 and leased out their tires manufacturing facility to Apollo Tyres on a long term basis. Under the rehabilitation scheme prescribed by the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction, Apollo Tyres took over PTL in 1995 by subscribing to their additional equity of Rs. 10 crore. In 2007, they started their first super specialty hospital project, Artemis Health Institute in Gurgaon, and in 2012 an additional 47-bedded unit called Artemis Hospital opened in Delhi. In 2014, PTL Projects Ltd. (now known as Artemis Global Life Sciences Ltd.) boosts PTL’s activities into medical management and technical education by acquiring 100 percent shareholding in Athena Eduspark Ltd. In 2015, they sold 30, 25,000 equity shares in Artemis Medicare Services Ltd., making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of Artemis Health Sciences Ltd. By April 2016, PTL Enterprises Ltd. demerged its Medicare and Healthcare Service Business into Artemis Global Life Sciences Ltd., and became 100 percent shareholder of AHSL. The Company has ceased to be the holding company of the other companies and everything became effective in March 2017.
