About Black Rose Industries Ltd

Black Rose Industries Ltd., formerly known as Asia Fab Ltd., was incorporated in Bombay on January 1 1990. It is engaged in spinning, weaving and processing of textiles in Maharashtra, and wind power generation in Rajasthan and Gujarat. In April 1992, it raised funds through a public issue to finance a new 500,000 mtr pm capacity unit at Maharashtra. The company then formed a technical-cum-marketing tie-up with a Japanese multinational trading house and both the weaving and processing sections were operational within the year. In 2011, the company formed a wholly owned Japanese subsidiary called B.R. Chemicals Co. Ltd. and in 2013-2014, they set up Indias and South Asias first acrylamide plant with an installed capacity of 10,000 MT. The capacity was later increased to 14,000 MT in 2016-2017 and a polyacrylamide liquid plant with an installed capacity of 6,600 MT was started in October 2019. During May 2019-20, a major expansion was planned to produce 40,000 MT of polyacrylamide liquid and 10,000 MT of polyacrylamide solids. Additionally, the acrylamide production facility was also expanded from 14,000 MTPA to 20,000 MTPA. During 2021, the polyacrylamide liquid plant in Jhagadia, Gujarat was commissioned, as per plans with 40000 MT capacity.
