About Amines & Plasticizers Ltd

Amines Plasticizers APL is a leading manufacturing company that specializes in the production of ethanolomines and plasticizers used in PVC compounding. It has also pioneered the manufacturing of morpholine derivatives which are widely used in the chemical industry. In 1995-96 it entered into an agreement with a major manufacturer of gases for oxygen and nitrogen debulking and started exporting their product to the Gulf countries. In 1999-2000, it also entered into an MOU with a leading Engineering Consultancy Company in the UK for the supply of their technology to other countries. Later, due to financial constraints, the company got declared as ‘sick’ by the BIFR. The BIFR has now approved the rehabilitation scheme of the company and the formal sanction of the scheme is still awaited. The company has also entered into an agreement with a consultancy company in the UK for the marketing of their technologies.
