The new ‘Secure Skills for Jobs’ program has been launched by the government to provide skilled training and employment opportunities to people in India. Through this program, people in the informal sector will get free training and certification modules of their choice in a wide range of subject areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Internet of Things. In addition, the program helps those to seek employment in high-growth sectors such as information technology, e-commerce, BFSI, hospitality, logistics, and healthcare. The government also plans to utilize technology platforms to identify job seekers and create job opportunities for them.
