The company has been engaged in manufacturing various food products since 1999, when the Promoter, Ghansyambhai Lukhi, started off with his own sole proprietorship firm, Tapi Food Products. In 2004, Tapi Food Products setup a modern facility, equipped with specialized custom-made manufacturing equipment, under the KVICS REGP Scheme and launched the renowned brand, Mum Mum tutty Fruity Rs. 1 Sachet. Subsequently, in 2006, the company installed a Solar Steam Generating System for producing food items and, in 2010, it launched the Depositor Jelly Candy bar under the brand Boleto. In 2018, the running business of the sole proprietorship company was taken over by Tapi Fruit Processing Limited. The company has a diversified portfolio of products that caters to a variety of consumer preferences. All the manufacturing facilities have been strategically located near sources of raw materials, which are primarily sugar, papaya and packaging materials, to minimize freight and logistics related expenses. Additionally, Tapi Fruit Processing Limited also distributes products across 28 states and Union Territories of India through a network of 60 superstockists and exports products via 5 merchant exporters. The company runs an IT system to coordinate operations from manufacturing to logistics and possesses an aggregate estimated installed capacity of 3000 MTPA.
