About Patspin India Ltd

Patspin India was established in 1991, prompted by the GTN Textiles under thechairmanship of Mr. BK Patodia and Mr. Umang Patodia as the Director. To further its manufacturing of fine and medium thread, the company received financial aid from Itochu Corporation Japan and Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation. The company has therefore enabled twophase expansion of its production capacity which includes diversification into additional parts of value-added products using the primary infrastructure already established. Patspin India also released its first stock in the market in November 1993 to help fund the progress. The company is now recognised internationally exporting to Japan, Italy, Israel, UK and Mauritius. Its won ISO 9002 and IS14002 certification from Bureau Veritas Quality International BVQI in 1996. The textile ministry also provided a 5% interest rate subsidy on the loans that were eligible for the modernisation of the technology. Due to the introduction of this new Compact Spinning Technology, Patspin India continues to expand its production rate in the year 2001.
