About VLS Finance Ltd

VLS Finance is a public limited company incorporated in 1986 that specializes in credit activities such as leasing, hire-purchase, ICDs, merchant banking, and treasury consultancy services. It came out with its first public issue in 1993 and its second public issue in 1994 at a premium of Rs 390. In the meantime, the company has formed two subsidiaries: VLS International and VLS IRIS India Advisory, both of which were established in Luxembourg. VLS IRIS India Advisory especially is the investment advisor of the IRIS India Fund which primarily invests in Indian securities. Additionally, the Reserve Bank of India granted the company with a certificate of registration as a non-banking finance company and removed the credit ceiling in respect of all registered NBFCs doing leasing, hire-purchase, loans, and investments. This will greatly improve the outlook of viable and efficient NBFCs in terms of business.
