About Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd

Tourism Finance Corporation of India (TFCI) is a Government of India enterprise focusing on financing tourism-related projects. Established in 1989, it offers assistance which includes rupee loan, underwriting of securities, guarantee of deferred payments, credit raised abroad, as well as consultancy services to the tourism industry. TFCI pioneered and innovated various products, such as the first Amusement-cum-Water Park at Mumbai, Palace on Wheels, The Ananda at Himalayas, and the restoration of heritage resorts. This has enabled the company to expand its portfolio by supporting existing hotel properties for renovation, upgradation and setting up of new projects, as well as actively pursuing consultancy assignments for various State Governments. Their services have facilitated the investment and infrastructure augmentation for the tourism and hospitality industry, and given a fillip to tourism and hospitality projects.
