About The Ravalgaon Sugar Farm Ltd

Ravalgaon Sugar Farm is a unit of the Walchand group based near Nashik, India. It produces a varied range of products including crystal sugar, candy sugar, confectionary and industrial machinery. The capacity of the factory has recently been increased from 1200 TCD to 2000 TCD and the company is entitled to a 100 free sale quota for 8 years as an incentive. During the 199596 year the factory crushed 3.92 lac MT of sugarcane, producing 4.17 lac bags of sugar at a 10.61 recovery rate and 4870 bags of candy sugar. Plans to introduce candy sugar in consumer packs are currently in development. Meanwhile, the demand for sugar machinery is increasing due to the recent licensing of new factories. Environmental protection initiatives and industrial safety measures such as flyash arrester and effluent treated are also an integral part of the d.
