About Salguti Industries Ltd

Salguti Plastics Ltd is a Public Limited company which was previously a Private Limited company in 1984. It has set up a HDPE/PP woven sack plant with an initial capacity of 308 tonnes per annum (tpa) which started commercial production in April 1987. The company is issuing equity shares for amount of Rs 1 Crore to finance the expansion of the capacity to 1265 tpa in August 1993. Meanwhile, in order to get funds for the expansion, Salguti Plastics Ltd managed to have two additional term loans of Rs 50.2 Lakhs and Rs 40 Lakhs from Andhra Pradesh State Finance Corporation and Andhra Bank. The expansion of the capacity was successful and the 1st phase was completed by December 1993. During 199596, there was a proposal for increasing the capacity by additional 1288 mts worth Rs 4.89 Crores. It was expected that the commercial production for the expansion would be started by October 1997.
