About Inox Wind Energy Ltd(Merged)

Inox Wind Energy Limited (IWEL) is a Public Limited Company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 in March 2020 that focuses on wind energy generation and sale. It is a subsidiary of GFL Limited which underwent a Composite Scheme of Arrangement and Demerger resulting in the transfer of Renewable Energy business from GFL to IWEL. The company operates at various sites in India including Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala and Rajasthan and provides clean electricity. The Composite Scheme of Arrangement and Demerger was approved by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on 25th January 2021 and was made effective from 9th February 2021. IWEL is aiming to expand its operations and capitalise on a global wind energy market that has huge potential for carbon emission elimination.
