About Bhagyanagar India Ltd

Bhagyanagar Metals (BML) incorporated in 1985 and owned by Surana Group is a leading manufacturer of non-ferrous metal products such as copper rods, lead sleeves and enamelled or papercovered copper strips. The business also expanded its product offerings to include PVC coated fabrics and PVC foam leather. In 1994 it also ventured into the manufacture of jellyfilled telephone cables and with the approval of the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), its capacity was increased to 10 lac tpa. Furtherance to that in 199596, BML made plans to expand its PCM Cable Unit and in 199697 the company set up a unit for the manufacture of field coils. In order to meet the increasing demands, it constructed new production facilities for jelly filled cables at IDA Nacharam and Goa. Additionally, the company also announced buy back of Equity Shares of 3493610 and 121115 with the total number of Equity Shares at 6302528 and a Face Value of Rs 10 each.
