About Oriental Aromatics Ltd

Oriental Aromatics Limited (OAL) was incorporated on 7th April 1972. The Company has three manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat and they are engaged in the manufacturing and sale of Fine chemicals such as camphor, perfumery, speciality aroma chemicals, fragrances and flavour in India. The Company has a wide portfolio of products and technologies and was founded by Mr. Keshavlal Bodani in 1955. In 1988 it diversified to produce speciality higher-efficiency polymer foams for packaging, industrial and consumer applications. In 1999 the Company established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Vadodara. The Company also established a Subsidiary company Mulberry Investment Trading Ltd and merged with it in 2001. In 2005 the Company established a Wholly Owned Subsidiary in New Jersey for business activities in the international market. It also commissioned a solid fuel boiler in Bareilly and Inert Gas Plant in 2007-08 and set up Alpha Pinene plant in 2008. In 2012, a subsidiary was established in Indonesia followed by commissioning of Aromusk plant in 2013 and manufacturing and RD facility in 2014. The Promoters of Oriental Aromatics Limited acquired 57.66% in Camphor and Allied Products Ltd in 2008. The equity shareholders of Camphor and Allied Products and Oriental Aromatics approved a Scheme of Arrangement for Amalgamation in April 2017 and the name of the Company changed to Oriental Aromatics Limited in 2018. The equity shareholders of Camphor and Allied Products and Oriental Aromatics approved a Scheme of Amalgamation in 2017. In January 2020, the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Oriental Aromatics and Sons Ltd., acquired land in Maharashtra to set up a Camphor Plant and other multi-products plants. Also, a Specialty Aroma Chemical Plant was commissioned at Vadodara in 2021 and expanded the Capacity of Terpene Chemicals Plant in Bareilly.
