What’s Next After Allotment?
If shares are allotted
Your allotment status should show the number of shares assigned to you once the basis of allotment is finalised. As per the tentative schedule, the shares should be credited to your Demat account on September 30.
Because the IPO was heavily oversubscribed, you should not expect to receive the full quantity you applied for automatically. The final number depends on the category-wise allotment process. In an oversubscribed retail category, eligible applicants may receive a limited allotment or no shares, while other categories follow their applicable allotment basis.
The amount corresponding to allotted shares will be debited, while any excess blocked amount should be released.
If shares are not allotted
If you receive no shares, your IPO funds should be unblocked or refunded from September 30, according to the tentative schedule. With retail demand at 19.567x, many valid applications cannot receive the full quantity requested.
Not getting an IPO allotment does not prevent you from buying the stock later. Once Moneyview lists on October 1, investors can assess the market price and the company's valuation separately before deciding whether the shares fit their investment approach.
Final Word
The key point is that 98.46x subscription makes the allotment outcome much more important for applicants than the overall demand figure alone. Subscription tells you how much demand existed, but your individual result will depend on the applicable category-wise allotment process.
If you applied, check your status on September 29 through MUFG Intime, BSE or NSE, and then verify your Demat credit or fund unblocking on September 30.
