Raksan Transformers Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company on July 21 1995 with the Registrar of Companies Punjab Himachal Pradesh Chandigarh. Subsequently the Company was converted into a Public Limited Company and name of the Company was changed from Raksan Transformers Private Limited to Raksan Transformers Limited. A fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated May 14 2025 was issued by the Registrar of Companies Central Processing Centre Manesar.In the initial years of operation Company mainly engaged in the repair and servicing of distribution and power transformers. Recognizing the growth potential in the power infrastructure sector it established the manufacturing facility of transformers in the year 200506 from the firstmanufacturing facility located at Rai in Sonepat Dist. Subsequently to meet increasing market demand and expand production capacity it established a second manufacturing facility located in Sonepat District of Haryana. The Company increased production capacity upto 12.5 MVA 33/11KV Class Transformers in 2017. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of transformers across different voltage ratings. The product comprise of distribution transformers power transformers transformers for solar applications and special purpose transformers. Transformers serve critical functions in power generation transmission and distribution networks and are deployed in diverse industrial and infrastructure projects. As a result these transformers are utilized across multiple sectors to facilitate the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. At present the two manufacturing units have a combined installed production capacity of approximately 1350000 KVA for Distribution transformer and 1350 MVA for Power transformer as of March 31 2025.
