Trade F&O Faster With Scalper Mode On INDmoney
Trade futures and options from one focused screen. Read charts, check option chain, place orders, track live P&L and manage stop loss or target price without switching across multiple screens.

Key Features Of Scalper Mode For F&O Trading
Scalper Mode is built for F&O traders who want to move faster from analysis to action. Every feature on this screen is built to reduce the gap between reading an F&O setup and acting on it.
Chart + Option Chain
Scalper Mode keeps the chart and option chain in one flow. The chart helps with direction and timing, while the option chain helps with strike selection, premium, OI, IV, Greeks and liquidity. So traders can switch between chart and option chain without losing context.
1-Click Orders
In F&O, premiums can change quickly when the underlying moves. Scalper Mode lets traders place Buy or Sell orders directly from the chart, without opening a separate order screen. This reduces the time between spotting a setup and placing the trade.
Drag-and-Drop Exits
Scalper Mode makes risk management more visual. After placing a trade, traders can place a drag and drop stop loss and target price directly on the chart. This helps them manage risk around visible price levels, instead of typing revised prices in a separate order screen.
Live P&L on Chart
Open F&O positions are visible on the chart along with live P&L. Traders can see how their position is moving while reading the same price chart. This is useful for options traders tracking premium movement and futures traders tracking price changes.
20-Level Market Depth
Scalper Mode shows 20-level market depth on the trading screen, helping traders check bid-ask spread, available quantity and liquidity before placing an order. This is especially useful in stock options, where execution quality can vary.
100+ Custom Indicators
Scalper Mode gives access to 100+ indicators for F&O charts. Traders can create and save chart setups for different contracts, so their preferred indicators are ready when they open Nifty, Bank Nifty, stock options or futures contracts.
Multi-Tab Tracking
F&O traders often track more than one contract at the same time. Scalper Mode lets traders open multiple contracts in tabs and switch between them without searching again. Each tab keeps its chart and setup ready, making it easier to monitor multiple F&O trades or watchlists.
Why Should Futures & Options Traders Use Scalper Mode?
Act Faster On Trade Setups
In F&O, a trade setup can change within seconds. A breakout, reversal or sharp index move can reprice options quickly. Scalper Mode reduces the gap between spotting a setup on the chart and placing the order.
Manage Exits From Chart
F&O exits are often decided by price levels, not just P&L numbers. With live positions, stop loss and target price visible on the chart, traders can manage exits while still watching the price movement that matters.
Reduce Errors in Fast Markets
When markets move fast, opening separate screens can increase the chance of mistakes. Scalper Mode lets traders adjust stop loss and target price from the chart itself, making trade management easier to control.
Scalper Mode vs Normal F&O Trading Screen
| Trading Action | Normal F&O Trading | Trading On Scalper Mode |
| Reading the setup | Chart and option chain are usually checked separately | Chart and option chain stay connected in one trading view |
| Choosing the contract | Trader moves from chart to option chain to check strike, premium and liquidity | Trader can toggle to option chain without leaving the chart flow |
| Placing the order | Order placement often opens in a separate screen or form | Buy and Sell actions are available from the chart view |
| Tracking the position | Trader checks positions and P&L in a different section | Position and live P&L are visible on the chart |
| Managing stop loss and target | Trader edits orders manually from order book or order form | Stop loss and target can be adjusted directly on the chart |
| Watching multiple contracts | Trader searches and reloads different contracts separately | Multi-tab tracking helps switch between contracts faster |
How to Access Scalper Mode on INDmoney
Step 1: Choose Your F&O Contract
Go to the F&O section on the INDmoney app and select the contract you want to trade. This can be a Nifty 50, BankNifty, FINNIFTY, Sensex, or Bankex contract, or any stock futures or options contract available on NSE and BSE.

Step 2: Turn on Scalper Mode
Open the chart for the selected F&O contract. Tap the Scalper Mode toggle to switch to the single-screen trading view. The screen shifts to a chart-first layout with order buttons, option chain toggle, market depth, and position indicators in one view.

Step 3: Trade from One Screen
Use the Scalper Mode screen to read the chart, toggle to the option chain, assess market depth, track your open position and live P&L, and place Buy or Sell orders without switching screens at any point in the process.

Frequently Asked Questions about Scalper Mode for F&O
Options traders need to read two things simultaneously. The chart for direction and timing, and the option chain for strike selection, IV, OI, and premium. In a standard setup, these live on different screens. Scalper Mode puts both on the same screen. The chart is the primary view, the option chain is one toggle away, order placement is one click, and live position P&L is visible on the chart. Every part of the options trading workflow happens in one place without navigating away.
Yes. Scalper Mode is available for all NSE and BSE F&O contracts on INDmoney, including Nifty 50, BankNifty, FINNIFTY, Sensex, and Bankex options and futures. You can open any of these contracts in Scalper Mode and access the full feature set, chart, option chain toggle, 1-click orders, position P&L, market depth, and indicators for that contract.
Yes. Buy and Sell buttons are directly on the chart screen in Scalper Mode. When your analysis signals an entry, you place the order in one click without navigating to a separate order form. This applies to both options and futures contracts across NSE and BSE.
Yes. Scalper Mode includes a toggle that switches the view between the chart and the option chain without leaving the screen. In the option chain view, you can see strike prices, premiums, Open Interest, volume, Implied Volatility, Put-Call Ratio, Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega, and bid-ask data. You return to the chart in one tap.
Yes. Open F&O positions are visible directly on the chart in Scalper Mode. Your entry price, position direction, and live P&L are shown as chart overlays, updating in real time as the underlying moves. You do not need to navigate to a positions screen to check the status of your trade.
Yes. After placing an order in Scalper Mode, stop loss and target markers appear on the chart at the levels you set. You can adjust these by dragging the markers to new price levels, no need to open the order book or type a revised price. This lets you manage risk directly from the chart, relative to the price action you are watching.
No. The name reflects the speed and single-screen design of the interface, not a required trading style. Scalper Mode is useful for any F&O trader who wants chart-based order placement, option chain access in the same view, and live position visibility without screen switching. This applies equally to scalpers, intraday options traders, and traders managing live positions who want full information on one screen.
Scalper Mode's layout is designed to be straightforward to navigate, and a beginner can use it to explore how F&O charts, option chains, and order placement work in one view. However, F&O trading itself involves significant risk and leverage and is not suitable for traders who do not yet understand how futures and options function. INDmoney's Practice Mode allows new traders to explore F&O in a simulated environment, with full Scalper Mode access, before committing real capital.
No. Scalper Mode is a trading interface, not a risk management system. It does not reduce or eliminate the risks inherent in F&O trading. F&O contracts involve leverage, and positions can move rapidly against you, especially around expiry, major news events, or high-volatility sessions. Scalper Mode provides tools, drag-and-drop stop loss, live P&L on chart, 1-click execution, that help you manage your trade more efficiently, but the underlying market risk is unchanged. Traders should always define their risk before entering a position.
Scalper Mode is available for all F&O contracts on INDmoney, index options, index futures, stock options, and stock futures. This includes Nifty 50, BankNifty, FINNIFTY, Sensex, Bankex, and all NSE and BSE approved stock F&O contracts. Both weekly and monthly expiry contracts are accessible within Scalper Mode.
Yes. Scalper Mode supports multi-tab viewing. You can open Nifty and BankNifty, or any combination of F&O contracts in separate tabs within the same Scalper Mode screen. Each tab retains its chart, indicator setup, and loaded data. Switching between contracts is instant, without reloading or searching for the contract again.
Scalper Mode provides access to 100+ technical indicators on F&O charts including VWAP, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, moving averages, ATR, Supertrend, and many others. You can build a custom indicator configuration and save it as a named template. Different templates can be saved for different contracts, so your preferred chart setup for Nifty options and your setup for BankNifty Futures can be saved and loaded independently.
A regular F&O trading screen typically separates the chart, option chain, order form, and positions into different pages or screens. Each action, checking a strike, placing an order, viewing P&L requires navigation. Scalper Mode combines the chart, option chain toggle, 1-click order buttons, drag-and-drop stop loss and target, live position overlay, and market depth in a single view. The goal is to reduce the number of steps between identifying an F&O opportunity and placing the order on it.
Yes. Scalper Mode works for all F&O contract types on INDmoney like index futures, index options, stock futures, and stock options. Whether you are trading a Nifty Futures position or buying a BankNifty CE, the full Scalper Mode feature set is available for that contract.
Yes. Expiry week particularly the last one or two days before weekly NSE expiry is when option premiums move most rapidly relative to the underlying. Theta decay accelerates, ATM strikes see sharp premium changes with every tick, and the window between a chart signal and a usable premium narrows significantly. Scalper Mode's combination of chart visibility, option chain toggle, and 1-click execution is most valuable precisely at this time, when the cost of slow navigation is highest.
