About Rocket Lab USA
Rocket Lab provides launch services, spacecraft and space technology for commercial and government customers. Its business covers both transporting payloads and supplying the systems that operate once a mission reaches space.
Its two reporting segments are Launch Services and Space Systems. Launch offerings include Electron and suborbital mission capabilities, while Space Systems covers spacecraft, mission solutions and components such as power systems, separation technology and attitude-control equipment. This gives Rocket Lab commercial roles across several stages of a space programme.
How Does Rocket Lab Make Money?
Rocket Lab makes money from contracted launches and the sale of spacecraft, components and related services. Customers pay for transporting payloads, building mission hardware or supplying particular capabilities within a larger space programme.
