About Trans India House Impex Ltd

Modi GBC, formerly known as GBC Hitech India and later renamed GBC Modicorp Ltd., is a joint venture between General Binding Corporation US and B K Modi group of India. Established in 1988, this company manufactures punching and binding machines, laminators, shredders and also trades in related supplies such as binding covers, laminating films and spiral rings. In 1992-93, the company raised capital through a public issue for the installation of high-speed blanking press for making spirals and lamination press, which has been utilized since then. Over time, the company has seen many changes, from becoming a part of Modicorp in 1996 to changing its name to Spice Systems Ltd. in 2002-03. Currently, the company exports its goods to many countries, including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Czech Republic.
