M. K. Sons Fine Jewels Limited has recorded strong revenue growth over the past three financial years. Revenue from operations increased from ₹217.32 crore in FY24 to ₹351.28 crore in FY25 and ₹538.73 crore in FY26, delivering a CAGR of 57.45%. The growth was supported by higher prevailing gold prices, healthy sales at existing showrooms in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, a full year's contribution from expanded showrooms, and a shift towards higher-value jewellery collections.

Profitability improved even faster than revenue, supported by a better product mix and operating leverage. Operating leverage means that when sales increase, fixed expenses can be spread across a larger number of sales, helping profits grow faster. EBITDA increased from ₹12.87 crore, with a margin of 5.92%, in FY24 to ₹38.56 crore (10.98%) in FY25 and ₹82.93 crore (15.39%) in FY26. PAT also rose from ₹8.16 crore (3.76% margin) in FY24 to ₹23.26 crore (6.62%) in FY25 and ₹51.79 crore (9.61%) in FY26.

The company's balance sheet has also strengthened. Net worth, which represents the value attributable to shareholders after liabilities, increased from ₹22.29 crore in FY24 to ₹168.01 crore in FY26, supported by profits retained in the business. Total debt remained at ₹68.44 crore. Meanwhile, cash flow from operations turned positive at ₹15.40 crore in FY26, compared with negative cash flows of ₹23.55 crore in FY24 and ₹9.53 crore in FY25. This improvement indicates that the business generated cash from its regular operations after earlier cash outflows associated with inventory and showroom expansion.

The company's return ratios also point to efficient use of capital. Return on Equity (ROE), which measures profit relative to shareholders' funds, stood at 30.83% in FY26, while Return on Capital Employed (ROCE), which measures returns generated from the capital used in the business, reached 39.88%. The debt-to-equity ratio declined from 1.73 in FY24 to 0.41 in FY26, showing a lower level of debt relative to equity. Debtor days remained low at one day because the company sells directly to retail customers. However, inventory holding days increased from 122 in FY24 to 193 in FY26, highlighting the amount of capital needed to maintain jewellery stock across its showrooms.

However, the company also faces some important challenges. Gujarat accounts for 67.97% of its revenue, making the business dependent on one state. Its inventory holding period is also long at 193 days, meaning money remains tied up in jewellery stock for an extended period. In addition, sales depend entirely on physical showrooms. Investors looking at the IPO should consider whether the company's growth can continue while it manages regional concentration, inventory requirements, and the costs of expanding its store network.
