"Costco Wholesale Corporation runs a plethora of international warehouses, primarily under the brand name ‘Costco Wholesale.’ These are membership-based and mainly operate in the territories of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, France, Iceland, China, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Taiwan. Founded in 1983 by James Senigal(CEO) and Jeffery H. Brotman is headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, Costco offers branded and private-label offerings across categories. Its product range is one of the most extensive and most exclusive, encompassing health and beauty, groceries, toys, office supplies, candy, television and media, hardware, and sports accessories. All of it is offered through its warehouses, each of which is 146,000 sq. feet in dimension on average and operates throughout the week, but for a maximum of 70-hours in total. In addition, Costco Wholesale Corporation also has a subdivision – Costco Wholesale Industries that engages in business in various sectors, such as optical laboratories, jewelry distribution, food packaging, and meat processing.
