About Timex Group India Ltd

Timex Watches TWL is an Indian watch manufacturing company established in 1988, relevant to the Tata Group Company and Timex Corporation US. The company strategically aimed their product markets to the low and middle price range of watches, providing value for money. TWL successfully sold 35.74 lac 12.5 PCDs worth of Rs 50.04 crore through a public issue in 1993 to part finance their Noida based manufacturing plant. To improve their net worth, the company issued 4500000 equity shares of Rs 10/ at a premium of Rs 14.25 per share in 1999-2000 and are planning to further invest in areas such as TwoTone plating and Kanbban System in Component Fabrication Shops. This has allowed TWL to be one of the leading frontrunners in developing technology for the global markets of watches and wrist instruments.
