TCS's product portfolio includes TCS BaNCS, a suite of banking software solutions, TCS iON, a platform for digital learning and cloud-based assessments, and Ignio, a cognitive automation platform that leverages AI and machine learning.
Founded by Tata Sons, TCS is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In 1992, it created a core banking platform for NSE and crossed $1 billion in revenue in 2003. The company made its debut on the public market in 2004 via an IPO. In 2011, it launched TCS iON, a pay-per-use IT-as-a-service offering for SMEs in India, and a year later, the company crossed $10 billion in annual revenue.
