Founded in 1945 as Mahindra & Mohammed, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group. In 1956, it made its entry to the public market by listing on the BSE. In 1977, ITCI merged with M&M and became a tractor division.
