About Angel One Ltd

Angel One Limited (formerly Angel Broking Limited) was incorporated in August 1996 and is one of the largest independent full-service retail broking houses in India, serving more than 9.2 million clients, of which 3.7 million are active clients of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). The company provides a range of financial services to clients – including stock, currency and commodity broking, margin trading facility, depository services, portfolio management services (PMS) and distribution of mutual funds. It also has a rule-based recommendation engine, Angel NXT, which leverages social media networks for client acquisition, activation and engagement.

The company provides research services and investment advisory services, through which clients are able to make informed investment decisions. It is also a member of multiple exchanges and facilitates investment in IPO's. In addition, it provides margin trading facility, loans against shares, and distribution of third-party financial products like mutual funds and insurance.

In FY 2021, the company crossed 4 million unique demat accounts and ranked fourth in terms of NSE active clients. In February 2021, it achieved a record of 5 million trades, with an Average Daily Turnover (ADTO) of Rs. 4 trillion. As of 31 March 2022, it was distributing mutual funds from 46 asset management companies, with AUM of Rs. 17.5 billion.
