About Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd

Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd (formerly known as Himadri Chemicals Industries Ltd) is the flagship of Himadri Group, with a primary focus on manufacturing carbon materials and chemicals for both domestic and international markets. Established in 1987 as a private limited company, it was converted to a public limited company in 1991 and has grown substantially since. The company is renowned for its five modern coal tar distillation plants in India and produces coal tar pitch for well-known domestic and international players, including Nalco, Balco, Hindalco, HEG Graphite India, Dubal, AOG Graftech and SGL. It also has specialist facilities for producing impregnation pitch, liquid pitch, advanced carbon material used for lithium ion batteries, a byproduct plant for producing value-added products, a melting plant in Korba, Chhattisgarh for just-in-time delivery, a 8 MW power plant in West Bengal, a Melting Plant Coal Tar Pitch in Sambalpur, Odisha, 5 grades of specialty carbon black and food grade carbon black, superior refined quality mothballs and Debonders. Capital expenditure on account of fixed assets for the last financial year 2019-20 was Rs. 24760.63 lakhs, and the company has been recognised as the Fastest Growing Company in ET Bengal Corporate Awards 2020. With two subsidiaries, one in Hong Kong (AAT Global Limited) and one in China (Shandong Dawn Himadri Chemical Industry Ltd), Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd is a rapidly expanding and respected industry leader.
