Company Information

GMR Power and Urban Infra Limited (GPUIL) was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on May 17 2019 by GMR Infrastructure Limited. It was aimed at demerging the Urban Infrastructure Business and EPC Business of GMR Infrastructure Limited. National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement on December 22 2021, which has been effective from April 1 2021. The Energy business consists of a power segment with a gross capacity of 1679.35 MW and the Transportation Business comprises of four operational roads with a total length of 349.48 km. The Urban Infrastructure Business includes Krishnagiri SIR with 1032 acres of land which is being developed in Tamil Nadu. The EPC Business consists of EPC solutions in the infrastructure sector with focus on construction services to the railway sector. GMR Power and Urban Infra Limited has two promoters - Mr. Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao and GMR Enterprises Private Limited - and its Equity Shares are to be listed and admitted for trading on BSE and NSE Platform.
