About Mold-Tek Technologies Ltd

MoldTek Technologies Ltd (formerly known as MoldTek Plastics) is a leading manufacturer of injection and blow moulded plastic items in India. Its product range includes plastic containers (used mainly for packing paints, lubricants, chemicals), Vicks inhaler, Vicks Vaporub containers, and plastic containers for fan and toy manufacturers. Moreover, the company has a client base comprising big-name companies like Procter & Gamble, ITC, Asian Paints, Ponds India, Goodlass Nerolac, Balmer Lawrie and Leo Toys. It also exports plastic packaging containers to UAE and Singapore, and its liquid packaging container has been widely accepted by leading lube manufacturers like Indian Oil, Veedol and HPCL. In Aug 1995, MoldTek made a rights issue, the proceeds of which were used to expand the plastic moulding capacity and the PET containers manufacturing facility. Furthermore, in Nov 1995, they amalgamated Strongpet Polymers Pvt Ltd (an existing PET bottle manufacturer) into the company. In addition, in 1999-2000 the company expanded its horizons to enter into the Information Technology business, and is currently at the final stage of acquiring M/s American Consulting Corporation Chicago USA.
