About Zodiac Energy Ltd

Zodiac Energy Limited is a 25-year-old energy solutions provider company based in Ahmedabad, India. Founded in 1992 by the current promoter director, Mr. Kunjbihari Shah, the company was created to capitalize on the increasing demand of standby electrical power in Gujarat. This began with the assembly of diesel generator sets which expanded to include supplying and installation of phone exchanges and mobile towers. In the early 2000s the company then began to expand into EPC solutions for natural gas based captive/cogeneration power plants. With the help of engineering and manufacturing partners they completed 1.4MW captive power plant with cogeneration for the Amul Dairy in Anand. Zodiac Energy have now installed more than 150MW of diesel and gas based generators/power plants pan India for various prominent national and international clients. In 2012 they moved into solar energy solutions and became accredited channel partners of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, expanding their solar venture with installation of rooftop power plants for clients such as SunEdison India, Adani Group, Torrent Power Ltd, etc. Having experience in majority of verticals of power generation, Zodiac Energy offers turnkey solutions from concept to commissioning of power plants, having already installed 6000KW of rooftop solar power plants with the vision of reaching 10,000KW by the end of 2017-18.
