About Nova Iron & Steel Ltd

Nova Iron & Steel Ltd was established in 1986 and develops sponge iron. In 1994, the company released 5.27 crore equity shares to part finance their sponge iron project based in Bilaspur, Madhya Pradesh. Following the inauguration and trial production, Nova Steels India Ltd provided the supply of entire production. In 1995, the company entered the market and used technical know-how from Lurgi Chemie Meta-Hurgie Industriebau GmbH, Germany. The management is now focused on expanding their operations, such as the installation of a power plant, acquisitions of mines, an increase in production capacity and the installation of a furnace.
