About C.E. Info Systems Ltd

C.E. Info Systems Limited was originally incorporated in 1995 as a private limited company in New Delhi. It moved to public limited company status in July 2021 and is now India's leading provider of advanced digital maps, geospatial software and location-based IoT technologies. It provides digital maps, SaaS and PaaS platforms, APIs and solutions under the MapmyIndia brand and for the global market under the Mappls brand. In October 2021, the company issued and allotted 13,310,742 equity shares with a face value of Rs. 2 each as bonus shares, with a ratio of 1:3. They then had a Rs 1039.60 crore public issue of offer for sale (OFS) by promotors and selling investors, with shares allotted at a price of Rs 1033 each including a premium of Rs 1031.

In February 2022, the company acquired 75.98% stake through a combination of preferential allotment and secondary purchases. On March 31st 2022, they had 3 subsidiaries, Vidteq India Private Limited, Gtropy Systems Private Limited and C.E. Info Systems International Inc. In 2022, they acquired 75.98% shareholding of Gtropy Systems Pvt. Ltd. and 9.99% stake of equity shares from Pupilmesh Pvt Ltd. They then unified and released one global platform under the brand Mappls with map data for over 200 countries and territories. Lastly, they expanded the coverage of their core foundation map data product with advanced map data covering 3D HD and RealView, heading towards their AI-powered Digital Metaverse of the Real World.
