About Talbros Automotive Components Ltd

Talbros Automotive Components Limited, established in 1956, is a leading manufacturer of Automotive and Industrial gaskets. Along with its joint ventures and associates, the company produces Gaskets, Heat Shields Forgings, Chassis Systems, Suspension Systems and Modules, Antivibration Components and Hoses. Talbros Automotive Components Ltd was founded by Talwar Brothers in collaboration with Coopers Payen Ltd UK and Engineering Components Limited UK and started operating from New Delhi in 1957. In 1975, they converted into a public limited company and shifted their manufacturing facility to Faridabad Haryana. In 1977, they set up a second plant in Chennai for Gaskets and in 1979, the company changed their name to Talbros Automotive Components Ltd. Since then, they have expanded their manufacturing base by setting up a third facility in Pune in 1995, setting up a backward integration plan in Faridabad in 1989, and setting up a fourth Gasket plant in Sitargunj Uttarakhand in 2009. Talbros has received various certification such as ISO 14001, and awards from Automobile Component Manufacturer Association of India (ACMA) in the first National six sigma Competition. They also forged technical assistance agreements with Nippon Leakless Corporation Ltd Japan, Federal Mogul Sealing Systems Slough Ltd and Ishikawa Gaskets Company Ltd Japan to obtain the latest technology in the automobile industry. In 2018, they set up a post coating line which commenced production in February 2018. These initiatives have contributed to the success of Talbros Automotive Components Ltd in becoming a leading brand in the Automotive industry.
