About Munjal Showa Ltd

Munjal Showa, a member of the Hero Group, is a pioneer in the shock absorber industry since 1987. Having collaborated with the Japanese Showa Corporation, Munjal Showa has a 26% equity stake. They design and manufacture shock absorbers for leading two- and four-wheeled vehicles, for companies like Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hero Honda, Kawasaki Bajaj, Kinetics etc. Their 24075 sq. mt. Gurgaon plant conforms to QS 9000, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards of safety, comfort and quality. Having established a strong base in the auto ancillary market, Munjal Showa have launched several new products like Front and Rear dampers, Struts, Window balancers, Front Forks, Rear Cushions, Gas Charged Front and Rear Struts, etc. between 1997-2006 and expanded their capacity from 72,72,00 Nos to 15,60,00 Nos. The company also has plans for a capital expenditure of Rs. 40 crores in its two plants in 200506.
