About Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd

Jay Bharat Maruthi JBML was established in 1987 as a venture between Maruthi Udyog MUL and private promoters: F C Singhal and S K Arya associates. It is dedicated to manufacturing automotive sheet metal components, assemblies, and subassembles for MUL's existing and future models of Maruti cars. In 1995-96 the company began producing components for the Zen model, and in 1996-97 increased their installed capacity to 5000 MT. In 1998-99 they implemented the ERP software system BaaN IV. In 1999-2000, a joint venture was formed with Nagata Auto Parts Company of Japan to manufacture tools and dies with a 15 equity participation. In 2000-01 JBML diversified their operations and began supplying Yamaha Motor Escorts Ltd. They are also planning a fuel neck project, entering in a technical assistance agreement with Hamamatsu Pipe Co. of Japan at a cost of Rs 24 Crores; sanctioned by Canara Bank and State Bank of India. Their installed capacity of sheet metal components has been increased to 31000 MT.
