About Hindustan Composites Ltd

Hindustan Composites Ltd. (formerly known as Hindustan Ferrodo) is a subsidiary of AM FM UK, which produces a range of fibre-based composite materials for automotive, railway and industrial use. They specialize in friction materials such as brake linings, roll linings, clutch facings, disc brake pads and railway brake blocks as well as asbestos, textile and insulation boards. Products are sold to both OEMs and the aftermarket, and the company is a major supplier to State Transport corporations. Having earned ISO 9002 quality certification they have also renewed their ISO : 9002 certification from the DNV of the Netherlands in 1999-2000. 2000 saw the company awarded the 'Export House' certification from the MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA for their successful international business, and they have also set up a new facility for sealing and textile products in Jalna. Their latest venture in 2014 - Compo ADVICS India Pvt. Ltd. - started commercial production of disc brake pads for passenger vehicles in Aurangabad.
