Shyam Metals & Energy Ltd (SMEL) is a leading Indian industrial conglomerate, incorporated in 1988 and headquartered in Mumbai. SMEL is engaged in the production and distribution of a wide range of products and services in the metals, energy and engineering sectors. Its core operations include mining, steel, engineering and power.

SMEL is one of the largest producers of steel in India, with a capacity of over 10 million tonnes per annum.
