About Prime Urban Development India Ltd

The Patodia YSL group has been in the textile business for more than five decades, and their subsidiary Yarn Syndicate Prime Textiles Ltd, previously known as ATL Textiles, is a government-recognised export house. They produce cotton yarns with high value-addition post-spinning processes, highly sought-after in countries such as Japan, South Korea, Italy, and the EEC. To capitalise on the export market, Prime Textiles expanded their capacities of their blowroom and preparatory machines for the production of melange yarn and modernised their existing facilities. Additionally, they diversified into knitting by installing Mayer Cie Knitting machines from Germany. To finance this expansion, they made a public issue in 1994, followed by two rights issues to finance a 100 EOU (Export Oriented Unit) cotton yarn – eventually put on hold, with the proceeds used for working capital. To further enhance their production, they even installed a 3.24 MW power plant in 2000/2001, followed by a modernization program for the latest technologies. To fund these developments, they have availed two loans from IDBI and Central Bank of India, totalling to Rs.125.50 million. Overall, Yarn Syndicate Prime Textiles Ltd has successfully expanded and diversified their facilities over the years to meet both domestic and international demands.
