About NCC Ltd

Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited (NCCL), a construction and infrastructure enterprise was founded in 1978. Initially, it started out as a partnership firm and then converted into a limited company in 1990. NCC is the first Indian construction company to be hailed as 'Best Under a Billion' in Asia Pacific region. It has regional offices all over India and also abroad in Dubai and Muscat. It hosts a number of divisions such as Pre Fab, Electrical, Water & Environment, Power, Metals, Oil & Gas. It established a Property Division in 1996 and Transportation Division in 1998. CRISIL upgraded the company's rating from FB to FA in 2000. It has joint ventured with South Korean firm- Dealim Industrial Co Ltd for some projects. NCC expanded its international operations with National Highway Authority of India in 2006. It also established a Power Division in 2007. It started its activities in the Irrigation segment in 2004 and has presence in Greenfield airport projects in Karnataka and a deepwater port in Machilipatnam. NCCL has 24 subsidiaries, post the merger of two wholly-owned subsidiaries with the NCLT along with the divesting of It's equity in NCCVUIL. It had 35 subsidiaries including step down subsidiaries as on March 31, 2021.
