About Karur Vysya Bank Ltd

Karur Vysya Bank is an Indian bank based in Karur, Tamil Nadu. It commenced operations in 1916 with the objective of reviving trade, agriculture and industry in and around the area, and became a scheduled bank in 1952. They offer multiple banking services, such as treasury operations, corporate/wholesale banking, retail banking, foreign exchange operations, and bancassurance services.

Since inception, Karur Vysya Bank has achieved multiple milestones, such as introducing loan products, implementing corebanking solutions and RTGS, and making alliances for trade, bancassurance and travel facilitation services. More recently, in 2017-18, the Bank also successfully raised capital through a Rights Issue and opened 79 new branches, including digital branches & extension counters. As of March 2018, KVB's network included 790 branches, 1795 ATMs, and 533 BNA Recyclers.
