About J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd

J B Chemicals Pharmaceuticals, founded in 1976 in Maharastra, is a global player in pharmaceutical manufacturing. It manufactures and markets a wide range of pharmaceutical formulations, herbal remedies, APIs, and agro-based products. It has subsidiaries in India and other countries and has been awarded the Certificate of Suitability to European Pharmacopoeia Monograph for Nifedipine EP from the European Directorate for Quality Medicines. It launched new products in the global market to expand its product portfolio and received approval from TGA Australia, USFDA, MCC South Africa, INVIMA Colombia, and MHRA UK. The company received the 'Most Trustworthy European Brand' by Readers Digest in cold and cough segment for the fourth consecutive year in 2003-04. It diverted into the contrast media products market during 2004-05 and entered agreements with PharmaaCare Pharmaceuticals and Ranbaxy Group for developing and marketing niche products in respective markets. It has undergone several mergers and diversifications in-order to increase its product range and profitability. More recently, it acquired a portfolio of brands from Sanzyme Private Limited and Azmarda brand from Novartis AG Switzerland. Thus, J B Chemicals Pharmaceuticals is well positioned to grow and progress further in the global pharmaceutical market.
