About Hind Aluminium Industries Ltd

Established in 1987, Associated Profiles and Aluminium commenced commercial production in 1988, manufacturing aluminium grills which are jointly promoted with Hindalco Industries and sold under the brand Decogrille. In 1994, the company acquired its present name. In 1996, it made a public issue to part finance the diversification of its production of aluminium rods at Khanvel Dadra Nagar Haveli with a capacity of 8400 tons/annum. In 1997, a unit was set up at the Silvassa Union Territory with a capacity of 12000 tons/annum and earned foreign exchange worth Rs 7 lacs. Both of the company’s divisions have been accredited with ISO9002, and in 2000-2001 the Wire Rod Division expanded its capacity to 10000 tons/annum through the use of internal accruals. Ecogrille is the new brand of Grill the company has launched, making them the first in the country to achieve ISO9002 certification.
