About Indowind Energy Ltd

Indowind Energy Private Limited, a company specialising in the business of generating and distributing power through windmills, was incorporated in 1995 and became a public limited company in 2000. Mr. K.V. Bala and Subuthi Finance Limited had promoted the company. It has since increased its capacity of generating power to 16.825 MW, through the purchase of WEGs from reputed suppliers. It sells Green Power to State Electric Boards and Corporate clients while also providing operations and maintenance services for windmills. Moreover, it also offers turnkey projects to corporate companies. The installation of renewable energy capacity such as solar and wind stood at 87.02 GW and 163.38 GW respectively, as on March 31, 2020 and 2022 respectively.
