About KPI Green Energy Ltd

K.P.I. Global Infrastructure Limited is a solar power generating company that was incorporated in 2008. They specialize in providing solar power as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and service provider to Captive Power Producer (CPP) customers. They have constructed, operated, and maintained a 13.25 km long 66 KV transmission line to transfer generated power from their Solarism Plant to the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) substation. In 2016 they commissioned a 5 MW solar power plant and in 2017 they established a 10 MW plant, while they currently have 1.90 MW of solar power for their CPP clients. The company is now aiming to increase its solar power generation capacity with a 25 MW solar power project at Sudi Samiyala Tanchha village in Amod, Bharuch. It is estimated to cost Rs. 13,203.76 Lakh, and the projected commercial commencement date is July 2019. The company has entered bilateral PPAs with various industrial consumers where the rate is around Rs 6.58 per unit. The company is headed by Mr Faruk G. Patel, who has extensive experience in the solar and wind energy sector, and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr Shaheedul Hasan, who has a degree in engineering in electronics and has been involved in the lifecycle of a telecom network and solar power plant. The Company has won the 2016 Excellence in Solar Park Award from Mission Energy Foundation, Mumbai, and the Promoter has made Legends of Surat 2018 from Gujarat Mitra.
