About Himatseide
The company has launched India's first luxury home furnishing brand, created ten showrooms across the country, and opened a store in Dubai, UAE. With their new bed linen manufacturing facility at Hassan Special Economic Zone having an annual installed capacity of 20 million meters, they have also received the Largest Silk Exporter award for the 14th consecutive year. Furthermore, they are setting up a 12.5 MW coal-based cogeneration power plant expected to be commissioned by August 2009. More recently, the company acquired the exclusive rights to the famous Tommy Hilfiger Home brand, introduced Himatsingka Europe Ltd to their European operations, and undertook a Scheme of Arrangement to demerge the retail business division of Himatsingka Wovens Private Limited.
