Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL) is a public sector oil and gas company listed on the Indian Stock Exchange (NSE), and is a key player in the refining and marketing of petroleum products in India. CPCL has an extensive marketing infrastructure across the country and is actively involved in exploration and production activities, especially in the oilfields of Cauvery Basin. It manufactures a wide range of petroleum products from its refineries that include LPG, naphtha, kerosene, petrol, diesel, lubricants, etc. CPCL also holds interests in various gas pipelines for transporting the crude oil and products. With its presence in the Indian Oil and Gas industry, the company contributes to the growth of the Indian economy.
